Yvonne Pilon is the President and CEO of WEtech Alliance, 1 of 17 Regional Innovation Centres funded by the Province of Ontario. At the age of 24, she founded her first tech venture, AD2IT, and by the age of 29, she became the youngest female to lead a Regional Innovation Centre. Yvonne has over 10 years experience in the tech sector with a core focus on growing companies and building a thriving entrepreneurial community. Yvonne recently took her love for tech to the airwaves as Host of the ‘Tech In The City’ podcast where she likes to consider herself the Carrie Bradshaw of tech. Yvonne was recognized in 2019 as a Top Social Media Influencer in Canadian Tech. Follow her at @yvonnepilon.

Yvonne is a member of the Technology Councils of North America (TECNA) Board of Directors, the Advisory Board for the Canadian Digital Media Network, the Advisory Board for FIRST Robotics Windsor-Essex, and a regional and cross-border economic development mobilizer in Windsor, ON / Detroit, MI.

Among the many awards and recognitions she has received, Yvonne is a proud recipient of the Leadership WindsorEssex Alumni of Distinction Award (2019), The Economic Developers Council of Ontario's (EDCO) Digital Influencer of the Year Award (2019), Windsor's Most Influential Women (2018), Windsor-Essex 40 under 40 Award (2018), Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce's Young Professional of the Year Award (2017), Biz X Magazine's "Powerhouse Professional of the Year" Award (2017), and the University of Windsor Alumni Association’s Odyssey Award (2012).

In addition to her leadership in tech, her passion for youth retention helped lead to the creation of YKNOT Windsor-Essex, a youth retention and attraction initiative that gained international exposure and the attention of Premier Wynne and saw the first ever Millennial-led Summit in Windsor-Essex, Windsor180, which gathered over 250 young leaders.
